Carver Road Repaving Work In Plymouth Begins Thursday

PLYMOUTH, MA — Repaving work on Carver Road is scheduled to begin on Thursday and last about three weeks.

The work will include milling, leveling and paving of the road between Pinewood Road and Deirdra Drive. Work is scheduled for Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

The milling is scheduled to start on Thursday and last for two days. Application of leveling course is expected Monday and Tuesday, and raising of casting is expected July 15 though July 22. Final paving work dates will be determined.

The Plymouth Department of Public Works said Plymouth police details will attempt to keep traffic flowing in each direction throughout construction, but the drivers as asked to plan ahead to limit traffic delays.

The DPW will deploy message boards to alert travelers of any updated conditions.
