DeMacedo Endorses Sullivan in Senate Race

Rep. Vinny deMacedo, R-Plymouth, has announced his endorsement of Mike Sullivan for U.S. Senate, according to Sullivan's campaign.

"I first met Mike fifteen years ago, when he approached me and asked me to run for State Representative," deMacedo said in a release. "Over the last fifteen years I have had the opportunity to watch Mike as a State Representative, District Attorney, U.S. Attorney, the Acting Director of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and now as a Candidate for the United States Senate.  In every part of his public and private life I have seen him act with integrity and common sense. He is the only candidate in this race that can bridge the divide to find common ground to solve the nation's problems. Mike is everything that we need in Washington."

Sullivan said he's proud to receive deMacedo's endorsement 15 years after he endorsed the state representative in his first campaign.

"I was proud to endorse Vinny fifteen years ago, and I am proud to receive his endorsement today. It has been a pleasure to work with Vinny over the years to bring common sense solutions to the Commonwealth. I am excited to get back out on the campaign trail with Vinny, to continue to talk about my solutions for the country's problems," Sullivan said.
