The owners of Plymouth's Blue Blinds Bakery say a disgruntled ex-worker posted racist views on its Facebook page in an act of revenge.

Plymouth, MA — Bizarre, racist messages posted on a Plymouth bakery's Facebook page were the work of a disgruntled ex-employee, owners say.

This is one of the messages in question posted on the Blue Blinds Bakery account:

Another message reads, "You're walking into a place that is deeply racist, homophobic, and sexist."

Blue Blinds Bakery is operated by the Twelve Tribes, a religious organization spread across several dozen communities in the U.S.

Lev Bryant, a tribe member who runs the Plymouth bakery, said the controversial messages were posted by a disgruntled ex-worker.

"It's ridiculous," Bryant said Monday morning. "I'm not racist. We're not racist."

Bryant said his group has been in contact with police, Facebook, and lawyers about the messages.

"People who know us know what we’re about," Bryant continued. "We have so much support here."

The rogue messages claimed those who run the bakery are members of a manipulative cult.

"Some of us ex-members are going to be talking to media in Boston as a group," one message read. "I will post the result of that on this page."

Attempts to reach the former worker were unsuccessful Monday morning. Plymouth Patch will post any response it receives.
