Entergy Laying Off 30 in Massachusetts
The owner of Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station plans to cut 30 jobs in Massachusetts.

Entergy Corp. says it plans to cut 800 jobs at facilities across the country, including 30 in Massachusetts.Â
According to an Associated Press report, most states will lose four to 6 percent of their employees, while Louisiana, where the company's headquarters are located, would lose up to one-third of its workforce.Â
Spokesman Chanel Lagarde says layoffs have begun and should be completed this year.Â
Entergy runs the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, as well as Vermont Yankee.Â
