Expanded Outdoor Dining Coming To Downtown Plymouth

Saturday is the target day to convert parts of Court Street and Main Street to one-way to allow for expanded dining.

PLYMOUTH, MA —Downtown Plymouth will undergo a transformation this week as the town converts parts of Court Street and Main Street to one-way traffic to allow for expanded outdoor dining.

Town Manager Melissa Arrighi credited Liddell Brothers Inc. for donating the barriers needed to reconfigure the roads with shipments expected to begin on Tuesday. She said the Plymouth Department of Public works will implement a new traffic pattern with signage through the state Department of Transportation Shared Streets grant.

Work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, through Friday, with hopes of having businesses open on Saturday.
