3. The First Parish Church meetinghouse, at 19 Town Square, Plymouth, is open for tours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday from June through October. Standing sentinel over 400 years of rich history in Plymouth, the 1899 First Parish Meetinghouse is the oldest continuous church and the oldest organization of any kind in the United States. It’s the centerpiece of Plymouth’s historic Town Square and overlooks Leyden Street, where the Pilgrims settled. Dedicated as the National Memorial Pilgrim Church, images of the Pilgrims are captured in the Tiffany glass windows. For details, visit www.firstparishplymouth.org or call 508-747-1606.
