Five Things: The Plymouth Farmers' Market

It's market day at the PFM. The cowbell rings at 2:30 p.m. on the lawn at Plimoth Plantation.

1. On the Edge Knife Sharpening will be at the Market to hand sharpen your knives, scissors, pruning shears and blades. Drop off your blades with Patti Small at her mobile sharpening van and she will take care of them while you shop. Pack them carefully.

2. Nicole Cormier of Delicious Living Nutrition will demonstrate two delicious wrapped breakfast options for busy adults and children as she discusses the importance of starting off the day with thoughtful food choices, during the Culinary Insights program at 4 p.m.

3. Market Friends get access to weekly market specials with each of the Market members. Friends are also automatically entered into drawings for special rewards at market vendors, local restaurants, and more.

4. Want to know what the farmers are harvesting this week. Check the Plymouth Farmers' Market website.

5. Are you interested in becoming a market volunteer? We need good people. Do you have a skill or talent you want to share? Do you want to help the Market shine?  Areas in need include people to put out signs every Thursday, web design and content, and help with parking, greeting and more on market days.
