The Plymouth Police Department will host its 13th Citizens Police Academy beginning Wednesday, March 27, you can apply on the department's website.

1. The Plymouth Police Department will host its 13th Citizens Police Academy beginning Wednesday, March 27. The 12-week academy will meet in the front training room of police headquarters on Long Pond Road from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays. Academy topics will include patrol operations, traffic enforcement, police powers, prosecution, detectives and investigations and K-9. Anyone interested should visit plymouthpolice.com, click on the Citizen Police Academy link, download an application and drop it off at the station. Participants must be 18. Applicants will receive notice if they are selected for the academy.

3. Black Feather Horse Rescue is hosting a Barn Dance Fundraiser, Saturday, March 30 at the Plymouth Elks Lodge. Donations are $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. There will be food, music, Black Feather items for sale and raffles.
