Five Things You Need to Know Today: Ride, Walk or Run
It's the first weekend of summer and here are some things you can do.

1. The Simes House Foundation is hosting a tag, bake, and plant sale to benefit Manomet Commones and the Simes House Foundation. The sale begins at 9 a.m. today. Check more yard sales on our yard sales map and add your next yard sale here.
2. Ryan's Ride is a fundraising bike ride or walk. The ride is a 12-mile scenic route from Plymouth Rock to Myles Standish State Forest and back to the waterfront. The walk is a 3.1Â mile loop from the waterfront to Stephens Field, through downtown and back to Plymouth Rock. Registration is $20 from 8-10am the day of the event.On-line registration is encouraged. Prizes will be awarded to top sponorships. Other events of the day (10 a.m.-4 p.m.) are Craft Fair, Car Show, Music, and Food.
3. Bayside Runner presents thefourth annual Mill Pond 5k race to benefit the PKD Foundation. Loop course through Morton Park offers both paved and unpaved roads. Signups are at 9 a.m. and cost $25.

4. The Plymouth Public Library hosts a Summer Library Program for children, teens, and adults. The theme for the children's program this year is Dig Into Reading! Sign up at the Main Library or the Manomet Branch to track your summer reading, participate in fun activities, and maybe even win a prize in our raffle at the end of the summer.
