Flood Alert for Plymouth
Please share! Coastal flooding is possible in Plymouth tonight as a storm brings heavy rain and thunderstorms.

PLYMOUTH, MA — A flood alert was issued for Plymouth Sunday night into early Monday morning.
A soaking rain that started Sunday morning will intensify at night; thunderstorms are also possible. Coastal flooding is possible around midnight when high tide occurs.
A coastal flood statement was issued by the National Weather Service:

- LOCATION...EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS COASTLINE FROM GLOUCESTER TO PLYMOUTH COUNTY.
- COASTAL FLOODING...MINOR SPLASHOVER AROUND THE TIME OF HIGH TIDE. * TIMING...BETWEEN 10 PM TONIGHT TO 2 AM MONDAY MORNING.
- IMPACTS...SOME OF THE MOST VULNERABLE SHORE ROADS...INCLUDING MORRISSEY BOULEVARD IN BOSTON...MAY EXPERIENCE MINOR SPLASHOVER.
