Friendly's Celebrates Woman Dedicated to Supporting Jimmy Fund
Florie Davidson, who has spent years supporting the Jimmy Fund, was honored with a celebration at Middleborough Friendly's.
On March 8, Friendly's in Middleborough “Deliciously Celebrated” Florie Davidson, a passionate supporter of the Jimmy Fund, an organization dedicated to the fight against cancer at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Friendly’s was inspired by her years of fundraising efforts on behalf of the Jimmy Fund, from participating in the annual Jimmy Fund Walk to a yearly yard sale and raffle. Friendly’s Deliciously Celebrated Florie, along with her family and invited guests, with a party at the Middleborough Friendly’s, including a special menu, festive decorations, a commemorative parting gift and more.
Part of a companywide Acts of Friendly’s-ness initiative, Friendly’s hopes to give back to the communities it serves by celebrating some of its most “Friendly” patrons.
