
The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flooding statement for Plymouth and surrounding towns Monday from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., as a full moon will cause tides to be higher than normal.

Coastal Flood Statement in effect from 10PM EDT MON until 1AM EDT TUE
LOCATION
EAST COASTAL MASSACHUSETTS.
COASTAL FLOODING
MINOR SPLASHOVER POSSIBLE.
TIMING
AROUND MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.
IMPACTS
MINOR FLOODING OF THE MOST VULNERABLE SHORE ROADS. ALL TIDE HEIGHTS ARE RELATIVE TO MEAN LOWER LOW WATER. TIME OF HIGH TOTAL TIDES ARE APPROXIMATE TO THE NEAREST HOUR."
