Girl Goes Missing from Sandy Pond Campground

A 10-year-old girl who went missing from a Plymouth campground Friday night was found early Saturday morning, police said.

The girl, from Brockton, was last seen at the Sandy Pond Campground on Bourne Road about 7:30 p.m., according to WCVB.

Police said she had wandered away from her family's campsite and was found in a nearby field. Her name has not been released.

The girl was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
