June Events at Scusset Beach State Reservation
All programs are free and open to the public. There is a $7 parking fee for most programs.

Bring water, wear sunscreen/bug spray, dress in layers, and wear good footwear. An adult must accompany children. Rain cancels events for the day. Creature Feature: Sea Stars & More Thursday, June 19, 2-3:30 p.m.
Learn about the sea stars, sand dollars, and other creatures that live right here at Scusset Beach. View some live animals and other natural history artifacts. Look for the table set up at the end of Scusset Beach boardwalk.Â
Wildlife Walk Friday, June 21, 10–11:30 a.m.
Search for park wildlife. Learn how to use a plankton net and binoculars. Find out where to look for birds, insects, and signs of wildlife. Meet at the Fish Pier.Â
Beachcomber Scavenger Hunt Saturday, June 22, 3-4 p.m.
Search for common seashore objects and discover the lore and history behind their found items. Meet at the end of the Scusset Beach Boardwalk.Â
Beach Twilight Hike Saturday, June 22, 7:30–8:30 p.m.
Have you ever explored the beach at night? What happens when the sun goes down and the stars come out? Find out on this great hike along Scusset Beach in the dark. Flashlights are not allowed! Meet at the end of the Scusset Beach boardwalk. There is no parking fee for this program.

A Modern Marvel: The Cape Cod Canal Friday, June 28, 3-3:45 p.m.
Join the Interpreter for a walk along Cape Cod Canal, along the way, we will talk about the different uses of this land and the Cape Cod Canal, from Native American use of the land through today’s use of the Cape Cod Canal. Meet at the Fish Pier.                    Â
