Lobster Boat Heavily Damaged In Plymouth Bay Fire
Plymouth fire said a local fisherman aboard the boat was rescued by a commercial boat before the lobster boat was towed ashore on Friday.

PLYMOUTH, MA — A Plymouth lobster boat fisherman was not injured, but the boat was heavily damaged, during a fire in Plymouth Bay on Friday.
The Plymouth Fire Department said it responded to a call shortly after noon about a fire in the bay and was assisted by the Plymouth Harbormaster. Plymouth fire said the crew of a commercial boat working in the area rescued the single occupant of the lobster boat before fire crews arrived.
The 22-foot Sisu lobster boat sustained heavy fire damage and was towed back to shore by TowBoatUS.
