Man Drowns At White Island Pond In Plymouth

The victim was found and brought to shore by a jet ski operator.

PLYMOUTH, MA — A man has died after being pulled from the water at White Island Pond in Plymouth Saturday afternoon, said Plymouth Fire Chief G. Edward Bradley in a news release.

Plymouth firefighters responded to a 911 call for a reported drowning around 3:10 p.m. after a man was pulled from the water near Arrowhead Road, said Bradley. The victim was reportedly found by a jet ski operator who brought him to shore.

First responders performed CPR on the victim, but he was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.

The man's name is not being released at this time.

The incident remains under investigation by the Plymouth Police Department and Massachusetts State Police.
