Manomet Mystery Riders Plan Memorial Ride to Boston

The Manomet Mystery Riders motorcycle club is planning a ride to the Boston Marathon finish line and invites all area motorcycle clubs to join them.

Members of the Manomet Mystery Riders motorcycle club are planning a ride this Sunday as usual, but instead of another ride to the Cape or someplace local, this Sunday club members intend to ride to Boston, and lay flowers at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, where three people were killed and more than 150 people injured in Monday's explosions.

The club is calling it the "Patriot Spirit and Memorial Ride," and is inviting all motorcycle clubs in Metro Boston to parade past the finish line to pay tribute to the victims. The club intends gather at a Boston restaurant after the ride.

More information will follow on when the ride will begin. The Manomet Mystery Riders usually begin their rides at Gellar's Snackbar in Manomet.
