New Forges Well To Begin Serving Plymouth Residents Thursday

PLYMOUTH, MA — Plymouth residents are getting a new water source.

Town officials said the new Forges Well off Jordan Road will start feeding the town's water system on Thursday. The introductions may cause some temporary discoloration of water in some households.

In case of discolored water, residents are asked to run the outside spigot and then proceed to inside faucets moving toward the center of the house.

Town officials said the Plymouth Department of Public Works Water Division will have a crew on standby to address any issues. Those with questions are asked to contact the Water Division at 508-830-4162, extension 12137.
