Not Ready for the Boston Marathon? Try These Local Races

The Boston Marathon is Monday, but some of us aren't quite ready to run 26.2 miles. But there are some races in Plymouth that are manageable.

South Shore Race Management has a full list of races being held across the region this spring, summer and fall. Races from 5 kilometers to half-marathons, and even a full marathon, are open to registration.

Here's a list of races being held in Plymouth. If you want to run the big one someday you've got to start somewhere.
