Obituary: Emily A. Swartz, 10, Indian Brook Elementary Student

Ten-year-old Emily Swartz died suddenly May 30 of complications from juvenile diabetes.

Emily Anne Swartz, age 10, of Plymouth, who was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes and had complications, died suddenly at the Tufts Children's Floating Hospital in Boston, May 30, 2013.

She is survived by her Dada, Eric M. Swartz; Mum Laura A.(Crowell) Swartz; her pets and animals, Sandy Neck Family, and her ocean creatures. Emily was a great lover of art, theater, and was an amazing writer thanks to the help/encouragement from Nancy Loftus and music inspiration from Mr. Battles (rock on).

She attended Indian Brook Elementary School in Plymouth, she loved her school family. She will be missed by all of her family and friends, especially her Nana, Linda Hickey; Papa, Tim Hickey; Grampy, John Crowell; Grandma, Craig Yohn); her aunts and uncles: Heather and Joey O'Brien, Aliicia and Stephen Furrer, Jeanne and Chris Willis, Auntie Carol Channock; and cousins Olyvia, Jordan, and Connor.

Services from the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth. Friends and family are welcome to join the family Sunday, June 9, at Avila Restaurant for the celebration of Emilys Life from noon to 5 pm. Her friends are invited to bring photos to be on the remembrance board.
