Pilgrim Progress Needs Volunteers
Are you interested in dressing up like an English colonist and pretending to be a Pilgrim? This might be for you.
The Pilgrim Progess is looking for volunteers to participate in the historical reenactment of the Pilgrims' procession to church after the first hard winter.
Every summer beginning in August reenactors dressed in period costumes make their way from the Mayflower Society House on Winslow Street to the top of Burial Hill. A reenactor playing the part of Elder William Brewster then gives a short, period sermon, after which the procession makes its way to Main Street.
The Pilgrim Progress is sponsored by Plymouth Rock Foundation and funded in part by the Town of Plymouth Promotions Fund.
