Plymouth Churches Come Together to Pray for Boston

Plymouth area churches will hold a prayer vigil for Boston at 7 p.m. tonight at Memorial Hall.

Plymouth area church pastors and leaders will hold a prayer vigil for the city of Boston at 7 p.m. Monday, April 22, at Memorial Hall, located at 83 Court St.

“We believe in the power of prayer for healing and restoration,” Neil Eaton, head pastor of New Hope Chapel of Plymouth, said. “We need to draw on the strength of the Lord together. The scripture encourages us to ‘Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.’”

Eaton extended special appreciation to the town of Plymouth, which operates Memorial Hall, for working with the area churches to pave the way for this event. New Hope’s Ministry Center is located next door to Memorial Hall, at 89 Court St., and New Hope conducts its weekly Sunday service at Memorial Hall.

“We’re just starting to get the word out on this,” Eaton said. “We hope many churches are represented. Obviously, all are welcome.”
