Plymouth Courts Close Due To Coronavirus Exposure

Southeast Housing Court - Plymouth Session, Plymouth Probate & Family Court, and Plymouth Juvenile Court have closed for disinfecting.

PLYMOUTH, MA — Southeast Housing Court - Plymouth Session, Plymouth Probate & Family Court, and Plymouth Juvenile Court have closed temporarily due to COVID-19 exposure.

According to the district's website, a senior maintenance tech who was last at the courthouse on March 19 has tested positive for COVID-19.

The courthouse will be cleaned during the closure and reopen on Thursday, March 25. Anyone with questions can contact the emergency help line at 833-91COURT.

The temporary closure of Plymouth courts comes during the state's 90-day plan for operations, which began on Jan. 8.

The plan, which will last through April 5, includes staffing court offices at 50% capacity, adopting a phased approach to resuming jury trials, developing jury trial priority plans, and expanding remote operations.
