Plymouth Market Basket Grand Opening
Today was the grand opening for the new Plymouth Market Basket on Commerce Way. Did you go?
PLYMOUTH, MA — Market Basket on Sunday opened its newest location in Plymouth on Commerce Way.
It's the grocery chain's 80th store in New England; several more locations are set to open in the coming months.
Market Basket is based in Tewksbury. In 2014, workers captured global headlines by revolting over the firing of CEO Arthur T. Demoulas. Their walkout succeeded; Demoulas was reinstated. He ordered $50 million in worker bonuses that December.
