
The Plymouth Memorial Day parade will step off promptly at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 27, from Shirley Square in downtown Plymouth.
All participants are encouraged to start forming up on North Street at 9 a.m. sharp. There will be free parking only until noon.
The parade marshall will be Dale Whitbeck and the emcee will be Roxanne Whitbeck. The grand marshall will be John Koukol, a veteran of World War II.

The guest speakers at this year’s event will be members of the Hagloff/Pucino families.
The Royal Canadian Legionnaires of Georgetown, Ontario, will be this year’s special guests.

The parade will proceed north on Route 3A and stop first at the Korean and Vietnam Memorial on the 1820 Courthouse Green, where a wreath laying ceremony will take place.
The parade will proceed north to Memorial Hall for a wreath laying ceremony at the World War II Memorial and then continue on to Samoset Street and west to the Vine Hills/Oak Grove cemetery for a wreath ceremony on the Civil War memorial green. The parade will then exit onto Summer Street and travel east to the World War I Memorial Bridge over Town Brook for a wreath ceremony before proceeding to the Training Green for a wreath ceremony and speakers.
Following the ceremonies on the Training Green, members of the veterans organizations and the Bud Band will proceed to the State Pier for a sea dedication ceremony.
In the event of inclement weather, ceremonies will take place in Memorial Hall at 10:30 a.m. If you have questions, call the Veterans Services Office at 508-747-1620.
The previously scheduled dedication to fallen heroes in Memorial Hall after the parade has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. July 3.
