Plymouth North Football Crushed by Silver Lake, 36-7
Plymouth North will stay winless on the season while Silver Lake picked up it's first win of the season.
PLYMOUTH, MA- The Plymouth North Blue Eagles football team traveled to Kingston to face Silver Lake Lakers on Friday Night. Plymouth North was coming off from being shutout by Marshfield, 48-0 last Friday.
In the first half, Silver Lake senior quarterback Ben Loftstrom passed a 55-yard touchdown pass to Sam Shirikjian for the first score of the game. Then, Plymouth North answered back with a Dallas Murphy touchdown to Wes Hillman. Then Silver Lake’s junior running back Austin Smith had short touchdown runs to take the lead into the half for the team, 20-7.
In the second half, the Plymouth North offense struggled to score, as Silver Lake rolled on with two touchdowns. The first one was a Loftstrom pass to senior captain Tommy Ohlson for 30-yards. The other was a short score from senior Gio Henrickson. Plymouth North would end up losing 36-7 and staying winless on the season while Silver Lake got it’s first win of the season.

Plymouth North will be facing Whitman-Hanson at home on Thursday at 6 pm for their next game.
