The following are obituaries for Plymouth residents or those with Plymouth ties for the week of March 31.

Paul E. Eagan Jr.
of Plymouth formerly of Duxbury, died March 29 at Jordan Hospital at the age of 69. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Caruso), and his 2 daughters, Jennifer Eagan of Weymouth and Amanda Russo of Walpole. He also leaves his sister, Rosemary Heffernan of Plymouth and his 3 granddaughters, Sophia Eagan, and Isabella and Ava Russo.
Paul was born in Boston, son of the late Paul and Margaret (Dwyer) Eagan. He was a 1965 graduate of Providence College where he received his Bachelor’s degree and he received his Masters degree from Suffolk University. Paul was a pension administrator for John Hancock, where he worked for over 20 years. He was a model train enthusiast and was a member and past treasurer of the Cape Cod Model Railroad Club. Paul also enjoyed music and was a long time member of the O’Reilly Brothers Irish Group where he played banjo and guitar, though his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Bernard M. Reed
of Plymouth formerly of Kingston, died March 30 at Jordan Hospital at the age of 79. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn (Pavesi) of Plymouth, his daughter, Shelley Smith, and her husband, Richard of Plymouth and cherished grandson, Ian Smith. He also leaves his brother, John Reed of Cumberland, RI. He was the brother of the late Robert, William, and Richard.

Bernard was born in Wareham and attended the Campbell Business School. He was a claims adjudicator for the Department of Employment Security. Bernard served in the U.S Army during the Korean Conflict. Read the full obituary at Richard Davis Funeral Home.
Doris P. (Curtin) Hamblin
81, of Plymouth, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on March 29th. The beloved wife of the late Carlton Hamblin, and mother of the late Betty (Hamblin) Carpenter. She is survived by her children Donna Knowles of Alberta, Canada; Etta Hinckley, Carlton “Sonny” Hamblin Jr, Priscilla Waterman and her companion Dennis Plante, Barbara Snider, John Hamblin and his wife Susan, and Judith Hamblin, all of Plymouth; Mark Hamblin and his wife Angela of FL and Daniel Hamblin of NY.
