Plymouth power outages stretched into a fifth day following a historic nor'easter.

PLYMOUTH, MA — Plymouth power outages on Tuesday stretched into a fifth day following a devastating nor'easter. As of Tuesday morning, there were still 1,848 without power in Plymouth, according to Eversource. That figure represents 6 percent of town.

Statewide, more than 17,000 were without power Tuesday morning — mostly in Southeastern Massachusetts and on Cape Cod. Outages were expected to persist into mid-week or later, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency.

Another nor'easter will hit Eastern Massachusetts Wednesday, though it will be weaker than Friday's storm.
