Plymouth Receives Back $91K In Insurance Costs

The town's rebate through the Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association Rewards Program was earned through employee actions.

PLYMOUTH, MA —The Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association, the insurance provider for the town of Plymouth, said the town will receive back $91,585 in rebates on its workers compensation and property and insurance costs based on employee actions this past year.

The MIIA said the savings can be applied to reduce town employee premium reductions in the next fiscal year.

The MIAA said Plymouth employees earned the rebates through taking advantage of training centers, including vehicle operations, employee assistance programs on human resources topics, working remotely, leadership and public works safety trainings.
