Plymouth School Calendar 2018-19: First Day of School, Vacations

PLYMOUTH, MA — The first day of school in Plymouth is August 30 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Plymouth School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.
The calendar includes important dates, such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 8/31: First Day of School (Pre-K and Kindergarten)

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/4: No School (Primary Election)
• 9/19: Half-Day Release

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/17: Half-Day Release

November

• 11/6: No School (Mid-Term Elections)
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day Observed)
• 11/21 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/5: K-8 Half-Day Release
• 12/12: K-8 Half-Day Release
• 12/21: Half-Day Release (Holiday Recess)
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/23: Half-Day Release

February

• 2/13: Half-Day Release
• 2/18 - 2/22: No School (Winter Break)

March

• 3/6: Half-Day Release
• 3/20: K-5 Half-Day Release
