Plymouth Schools Name Interim Assistant Superintendent

Erik Cioffi, a Massachusetts native, has been a principal in Georgia for the past 11 years.

PLYMOUTH, MA — Plymouth Public Schools announced that Erik Cioffi has been chosen as the interim assistant superintendent for human resources for the 2020-21 school year.

A Massachusetts native, Cioffi has spent the past 11 years as the principal at Fannin High School in Georgia. He was also an administrator in the Lee County School District for 10 years.

He began his career as a biology teacher and has more than 25 years of experience in schools.

"(Cioffi) will undoubtedly be a great asset to our school community in the coming year," Plymouth Schools said in a statement.

Cioffi has been working with the schools this summer and will officially begin his duties on Sept. 1.
