Plymouth South Edges Pembroke In Boys Lacrosse Season Opener, 9-7

In Plymouth South's first game in 696 days, the Boys Lacrosse team is back in action.

PLYMOUTH, MA- The Plymouth South Panthers Boys Lacrosse team traveled to Pembroke to face the Titans in the season opener on Thursday Afternoon. This is their first game in 696 days since the last season was canceled by the COVID-19 pandemic.

So, in the first half, Pembroke Titans had the lead 3-2 at the end of the half.

Then in the third quarter, Plymouth South scored four goals to make it 6-2, then Plymouth South’s defense hold on to the lead to make it 9-7 at the end of the game.

Matt Smith scored 4 goals for Plymouth South, then sophomores Nick McNulty and Holden Lassige got their first goals in their high school lacrosse careers. McNulty scored three in total, and Lassige scored just one.

Plymouth South’s next game will be at home against Whitman-Hanson on May 11th at 4 p.m. start time.
