Plymouth will get hit with 50 mph wind gusts Tuesday; power outages are possible.

PLYMOUTH, MA — Strong winds in Plymouth Tuesday could knock out power.

A wind advisory is in effect Tuesday through 6 p.m.

Westerly winds will average 25 mph and gusts will hit 50 mph or higher, according to the National Weather Service. It will be sunny, with highs around 50 degrees.

  • A WIND ADVISORY...IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 PM EDT TUESDAY.
  • LOCATION...ALL OF SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND.
  • WINDS...WEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.
  • TIMING...STRONGEST WINDS WILL BE AFTER MIDNIGHT INTO TUESDAY.
  • IMPACTS...SMALL TREE LIMBS AND BRANCHES MAY BE DOWNED...POSSIBLY CAUSING ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES.
