Small Earthquake Gives North Plymouth A Bit Of A Shake
The U.S. Geographical Survey said a 2.1-magitude earthquake hit North Plymouth on Tuesday.
PLYMOUTH, MA — Some Plymouth residents were on shaky ground for a few seconds late Tuesday afternoon in Plymouth. Most, however, probably did not feel a thing.
The U.S. Geographical Survey reported a 2.1-magnitude earthquake reported about one kilometer south/southwest of North Plymouth about 5:30 on Tuesday. No injuries or damage was reported.
According to the Survey website, 45 people in the town of 58,271 reported feeling the quake.
