Town Of Plymouth Paving Of Portion Of Armstrong Road To Begin On May 11

Barring inclement weather & unforeseen circumstances, work is expected to take place on weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 PM.

The Town of Plymouth’s Department of Public Works (“DPW”) seeks to notify residents and visitors that, starting on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, paving contractor Rochester Bituminous will begin paving operations on a portion of Armstrong Road, from the intersection at Aldrin Road to the area of number 71 Armstrong Road.

Barring inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances, work is expected to take place on weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in accordance with the following schedule:

  • Tuesday, May 11th – Milling of Roadway Surface
  • Thursday, May 13th – Application of Leveling Course
  • Friday, May 14th – Raising of Castings
  • Monday, May 17th – Final Paving (Pending Weather Conditions)

The DPW will deploy message boards to alert motorists of this forthcoming work. During the scheduled work, the contractor, DPW, and Plymouth Police detail officers will make every effort to keep traffic flowing in both directions. The public is advised to drive with caution and plan for traffic delays and temporary access restrictions related to this work.
