In response to the questions that you may have, or are receiving from elderly loved ones, regarding how they can sign up for a COVID-19 vaccination, we would offer the following answer at this time.

Although we do not currently have a Town-sponsored host location in Plymouth at which qualifying residents (75 years of age or older) can get vaccinated, qualifying residents can get an appointment for a vaccination by following the information on this website:

I found that one of the easiest methods was searching for a location by zip code:

I would add that, for those who need assistance and/or guidance going through the sign-up process to get an appointment, the Town has Social Outreach Workers at the Center for Active Living who can help walk residents through that process. They are receiving a very high call volume, so please leave a message with your phone number and/or e-mail address. We ask for your patience, as it may take some time to return your call. Although we have received information that appointment availability is scarce at this time, due to demand and volume, staff will continue to do their best to assist. For those residents who have no computer access, staff is trying to book the appointments, directly.

Plymouth may, in the future, have a local vaccination option in Town; however, that is in its early stages of planning and there is no certainty or guarantee that it will occur. Much is depending on the reliability of receiving the actual vaccines. The Town is also collaborating with Brewster Ambulance, and our Plymouth Firefighters, and other public safety officials, to setup a mobile vaccination unit to assist those residents who are homebound. Further, we are cooperating with Kingston Officials and our partners at the state level on a regional effort to support a larger vaccination site off the Route 3 corridor. These are still in the planning stages, and we will keep you updated in the Town Manager's Reports (on the Town's website) and through Select Board meetings.

Thank you and stay well,"
