One person was killed and at least two others were taken to the hospital, according to fire officials.

ROSLINDALE, MA — One person has died after fire officials say high carbon monoxide levels were found in a townhouse style condo unit on Hyde Park Avenue in Roslindale.
Authorities responded to the home in the 700 block of Hyde Park Avenue around 9:45 a.m. and transported three occupants to the hospital. Fire officials say an adult male was pronounced dead at the hospital and two women are being treated for high CO levels.
The stove in the unit has been determined to be one source of CO and city officials are on scene to find additional sources.

"The most likely cause of the CO was a faulty stove and a poorly vented basement furnace," fire officials said.
Officials say the unit is part of a five-unit condo complex and all the units have either missing or deactivated carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.
