2 Firefighters Injured In Roslindale Fire
Boston Fire officials said they called in the arson squad to investigate the fire early Friday morning.
ROSLINEDALE, MA — Two firefighters were injured and a family is without a home Friday morning after a fire broke out in Roslindale.
The firefighters both had minor injuries and were taken to hospitals, according to fire officials.
Four adults and two children safely escaped from the house at 11 Clare Ave., and Red Cross was called in to help, the Boston Fire tweeted.

The fire began at about 5:19 a.m. and was put out within the hour, but not without causing significant damage to a large addition at the rear of a one and a half story single family house.
Fire officials put the estimated damage at about $500,000.

It's still unclear what started the fire and the department's arson squad was called in to investigate.
