4 Displaced In Dorchester Fire

Firefighters battled the blaze on a narrow, car-lined road in frigid conditions.

BOSTON, MA — Four adults were displaced following an early-morning fire in Dorchester. The Boston Fire Department said none of the residents were injured, but a firefighter suffered a non-life threatening injury.

The two-alarm fire occurred at 12 Drayton Ave shortly before 4 a.m. The fire department called it a "narrow car lined street with snow banks," adding to the difficulty.

The Associated Press reported the fire department had to battle two frozen hydrants and icy streets. The wind chill factors were close to minus 20 degrees.
