Boston Native Donnie Wahlberg, Jenny McCarthy Marry Over Weekend
The Hotel Baker hosted the celebrity wedding as fans gathered outside. Entertainment media expected the nuptials to take place in New York.

McCarthy, 41, who lived for several years in nearby Geneva, and Wahlberg, 45, were spotted going into the Hotel Baker on Saturday, tipping off fans in the region who gathered outside the St. Charles landmark to catch glimpses of the newlyweds.
Camera crews from the A&E reality series “Wahlburgers” were also outside the Hotel Baker Sunday afternoon. Donnie, who is a regular on the show “Blue Bloods” with Tom Selleck, also appears in the reality show with his extended family.

McCarthy graduated from Mother McAuley High School on the South Side. The comic actress has penned a column for the Chicago Sun-Times and recently hosted “The View,” is now doing a radio show on Sirius XM. McCarthy announced her engagement to Wahlberg on “The View” in April.
Restaurants and shops near the Hotel Baker did a booming business Sunday as fans camped out all day hoping for a celebrity sighting.
Simone Leduc, manager of Forever Yogurt, told the Daily Herald that Labor Day weekend is usually slow. But the crowds were overwhelming.
“That’s why I’m here on a Sunday,” Leduc said.
Sharon Wells of South Elgin told the Kane County Chronicle she saw Jenny McCarthy Saturday evening at Rox City Grill in St. Charles.
“You could see Jenny though the window,” Wells said. “The security kicked us out ... we were right up against the glass.”
Security kept patrons out of the establishment on Saturday, telling folks that Rox City was reserved for a private event.
Sherri Shepherd, McCarthy’s co-host on “The View,” was seen going into the wedding, as was Jordan Knight, one of Wahlberg’s New Kids on the Block bandmates.
