Firefighters Rescue 1 During Roslindale Fire
A third floor resident was rescued by way of an Aerial Ladder.

ROSLINDALE, MA — Boston firefighters rescued someone from the third floor of a burning home on Aldrich Street, Tuesday afternoon. The fire left five adults and six pets displaced.
Crews were called to 6 Aldrich Street just before 2 p.m. where they saw flames when they got there, on the first floor. Crews worked to get a person on the third floor out safely and used the aerial ladder to do just that with no injuries.
They were able to put the flames out quickly, according to officials who added crews contained the fire to the first floor. Fire officials said there were five adults, three cats and three dogs that were displaced by the fire.

There was about $50,000 in damages, according to officials.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
