Help Healy Field, Roslindale Wetlands Shine Today in Roslindale
Two big spring clean-ups are happening in Roslindale. There's still time to volunteer!

Do you remember the sunflowers from Healy Field last year? Want to be a part of planting them for this year? Join one of the Boston Shines events this weekend in Roslindale, and you'll be able to sow the seeds for this fall's sunflowers.
Please join Roslindale neighbors with a community clean-up starting at Temple Viet Nam at 68 Bradeen St. There will be sunflower planting at Healy Field, and an energy efficient light bulb swap.

Organizations involved in this clean-up includes the Friends of Healy Field, Casserly House, Habitat for Humanity, the Mayor's Office, Greening Rozzie, Southwest Boston CDC, Archdale Housing Development, and Temple Viet Nam. The community clean-up will take place from Firth Road to Claxton Street. Worki will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with an 11:30 a.m. is lunch, followed by an optional tour of the temple if you would like one.Â
 Also on Saturday is Roslindale Wetlands Trail Work Day with volunteers spreading wood chips and removing invasive plants from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., also a part of Boston Shines.Â
