Man Found Dead At Stony Brook Reservation: MA State Police

State police said they found a man, dead, on a park bench at Stony Brook Reservation. But they say they don't suspect foul play.

HYDE PARK, MA — The body of a 34-year-old Boston man was found on a bench at the Stony Brook Reservation Friday morning and State police are investigating they said.

At 6:55 a.m. Friday troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Barracks in Milton responded to a call from someone reporting a man was found, apparently dead, on a bench next to a soccer field on River Street on the Stony Brook Reservation in Hyde Park.

Because police said there were no signs of foul play but they did find evidence of drug use, police are not releasing the man's name. Although police did not say how they believe the man died, police do not release the names of people who overdose or kill themselves.
