Man Shot In Roslindale
While fatal shootings are up this year compared to this time last year across Boston, the number of non-fatal shootings are down.
ROSLINDALE, MA — A person was shot on Wellsmere Street in Roslindale Thursday night. Early reports indicated that someone fired multiple rounds into a pickup truck.
Just before 2 a.m. someone reported the shooting. A man was transported to Brigham and Women's Trauma center, but no word on his condition.
This shooting comes after a woman was fatally shot in Dorchester early this week and there were three stabbings and three shootings over the weekend. While fatal shootings are up this year compared to this time last year across Boston, the number of non-fatal shootings are down, according to police data.
