Pine Manor College Hosts Welcome Wednesday

Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill is trying something new this week by hosting a Welcome Wednesday admissions event on Wednesday, October 10th from 4:30-7:30pm. This drop-in, open house event will provide a flexible opportunity for prospective students and their families to learn more about Pine Manor College’s academics, student support, student activities, athletics, financial aid, scholarships, and life on campus. Campus tours will be available to prospective students and a complimentary dinner will be served in the dining hall, where current students will be on-hand to say hello and discuss their Pine Manor College experiences.

First year and transfer students for spring 2019 and fall 2019 are encouraged to stop by at any time during the event. Sam White, Dean of Enrollment and Admissions, explains that this non-traditional, mid-week open house allows for a flexible schedule during evening hours. “We hope that students and families take advantage of our Welcome Wednesday drop-in admissions event and discover how Pine Manor College can become their home away from home,” White said. Pine Manor College (PMC) is a small, private, four-year liberal arts college dedicated to the mission of "Educating with Purpose." The college’s student population is comprised of 85% students of color, and 84% are first in their families to attend college. The College focuses on pathways to careers through internships, organizational partnerships, and academic programs.
