When is the First Day of School for Boston Students?

August is in full swing, the summer is half over, and it won’t be long before students head back to the classroom in Boston.

While it may not be the best news for students, parents looking to plan ahead for the fall can do so by checking out the Boston Public Schools 2014-2015 calendar, which can be found here.

So, how long until students head back to school?

Students in Grades 1-12, including Grade 1 in ELCs and EECs, will return to the classroom on Thursday, Sept. 4, according to the Boston Public Schools 2014-2015 school calendar. It will be a short week, though, as students will only need to attend on Thursday and Friday before enjoying a weekend off before the first full-length week of school.

All kindergarten students, including EECs, ELCs and special education students, will return to school on Monday, Sept. 8.
