2Ovens, Leary Foundation Support Marathon First Responders
It's been six months since the restaurant opened at White City Shopping Center, and they say they're happy to be giving back.
2Ovens took some time on Tuesday to give back to the community that has helped the new restaurant grow and develop.
The restaurant donated 15 percent of each meal to the Leary Firefighters Foundation to give to the first responders involved in the Boston Marathon bombing.
"The fires are at the center of our restaurant so when we were looking for a local foundation to work with the Leary Foundation made total sense," Stacey Furtado, assistant marketing manager for 2Ovens, said.

But the restaurant wants to give back to local diners and local breweries too.
When a person visits the restaurant they are invited to join the Share program, and so far more than 1,000 people have joined.

"Members of the Share program get invited to exclusive events, special deals and a heads up on news and menu changes," Furtado said.
2Ovens is also working with local breweries to bring new beers to local microbrew fans.
In April Wormtown Brewery took part in the first Tap Takeover, diners had the option of trying four of the Worcester brewery's beers: 7 Hills Pale Ale, Be Hoppy IPA, Blonde Cougar Summer Ale and Mass Whole Hefeweizen.
At future events 2Ovens and the Leary Foundation will be giving back to firefighters in the Worcester and Shrewsbury fire departments as well as other surrounding communities.
