The Board of Selectmen is seeking one (1) qualified individual interested in serving on the Zoning Board of Appeals to fill a vacant term set to expire on March 31, 2022.

The Zoning Board of Appeals consists of (5) members appointed for two year terms and (3) associate members appointed annually and is responsible to hear appeals brought by residents pursuant  to Chapter 40A of the General Laws and the Zoning By-Law of the Town of Shrewsbury.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on the last Monday of the month and on an as needed basis depending on the case load.

Interested persons must be registered voters of the Town and are asked to submit a letter of interest and a resume via mail or email to John Samia, Chair, Board of Selectmen, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA or to jdobson@shrewsburyma.gov by 4:30pm on Monday, July 19, 2021.
