3 additional positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Town of Shrewsbury since May 4, 2021 bringing the cumulative total to 2,938.

We are urging Shrewsbury residents to consider their own responsibility to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. We are still seeing community spread occurring despite vaccination efforts. It is crucial for us to keep our guards up and remain vigilant until herd immunity is achieved.
The most effective ways to reduce your risk in contracting the virus and preventing the spread are:

Vaccine Info: All residents are now eligible can preregister to book an appointment at a mass vaccination site at mass.gov/COVIDVaccine or dial Mass 2-1-1 for assistance. Residents age 60+ may call the Shrewsbury Senior Center at 508-841-8640 or Mass 2-1-1 for assistance.
All residents 16+ who live, work, or study in Massachusetts can now be vaccinated:
- Low Income and Affordable Housing
- Congregate Care Settings
- Long Term Care Facilities
- Health Care Workers
- First Responders
- K-12 Educators, School Staff & Child Care Workers
- Workers in Certain Categories
- People Age 75+ (Mass vaccination sites will vaccinate individuals accompanying 75+. Appointments needed.)
- People Age 55-74
- People with 1+ Certain Medical Conditions
- People who are Homebound
- People Age 16+
