  1. Pan Am 103 Victim's Family Reflects on Death of Gadhafi: Jeanine Boulanger brought other parents of those lost in Pan Am Flight 103 and became an advocate against the airlines.
  2. Investing in Shrewsbury's Youth: Mary Casey donated to the proposed Shrewsbury Public Library because of her commitment to the town and the library.
  3. Local Student Wins Art Contest: Ilakya Kumar, an eighth grader from Oak Middle School took second place in the  Lions International Peace Poster Contest, an international contest that encourages children, ages 11–13 to creatively express what peace means to them.
  4. Art Is 4 Every 1: Elaine Griffith, an artist herself, has developed a painting technique for anyone, regardless of your artistic ability or mobility to participate.
